Grendon Rangers Football Club Code of Conduct

The code comprises the following basic principles, which the club requires to be observed by players and all others involved.

- The Laws of the Game and the Regulations of Competitions must be respected. In particular, showing dissent towards officials and the use of foul and abusive language are not acceptable.

- Every effort should be made to behave in a sporting manner towards opponents, match officials and any other persons involved at matches such as spectators and the officials of other clubs and associations.

- Everyone in attendance should be encouraged to behave in the manner outlined above before, during and after matched irrespective of results and of decisions made by officials.

To ensure that matches proceed in a sporting and sociable atmosphere,
spectators are requested:

- To refrain from bringing alcohol to matches.

- Not to encroach on the pitch under any circumstances, unless invited to do so by the match Referee, either before, during or after the match.

- To keep their vocal encouragement within reasonable limits and not to criticise officials.

- To help the officials carry out their duties.

- To prevent any unruly individual or group from spoiling the enjoyment of the majority.

- To ensure that no racist or sexist comments are made and that no foul language is used at any time.
